I have known Pam Heath from Classic Moves for 3 years,
during which time I was looking for an honest and reliable
removalist to help move several clients from their home to our
Canterbury Memorial Units, which are independent living units
run by the Council mainly for pensioners.
These residents didn't have family in Australia, therefore the
thought of moving to their new units game them a lot of stress.
One of my collegues suggested contacting Pam Heath.

performance and attitude toward the isolated and vulnerable

Dear Pam,
It was necessary to move my aged step-father Mr John Ellery into a nursing home at short notice towards the end of last year. This caused much difficulty for me and other members of his family.
Mr Ellery had been in poor health for some time. He had lived alone for many years but had become unable to manage his household or indeed his personal situation, without a log of assistance from us and from various aged care service providers.
Once Mr Ellery had moved into permanent care it was appropriate to sell the house, promptly, to fun an accomodation bond. Mr Ellery had lived in the house at Church Street for approximately 50 years. During this time he had accumulated a very large amount of stuff, some quite valuable but much of little or no value. Clearing the house was a formidable task.
In the event you and your team were able to clear and clean the house ready for sale in a period of just about two weeks. This was of enormous assistance to the family. There was no practical way to have managed the task ourselves. We all have day jobs and in any case we would have struggled to maintain sufficient objectively to see the jon through in a reasonable tim frame.
I particularly appreciated your flexible approach – the way you worked in with sometimes changing reqiurements on our side was really very helpful. Your ability to produce specialist suppliers eg Australian Book Auctions and Christopher Bragg Auctions was also of very considerable help. Critical was the fact that we could trust you and your team to sort the good from the bad, family papers from dross, treasure from trash.
