Sorting a lifetime of belongings…
When Denise moved into Assisted Living she needed help.
Classic Moves picked Denise up each week over a period of
4 weeks to sort, dispose of and unpack her belongings.
When Denise was well enough to move, Classic Moves
helped set up her new home. This included buying small
items of furniture and health aids to make her living
arrangements more comfortable.
A team effort…
Pamela needed to move her mother whose health was
deteriorating, from retirement to a low care facility and
had to
move quickly when a bed became available. This was
particularly difficult for Pamela as her mother had dementia.
She rang Classic Moves not sure how she would cope with the
physical move AND her mother's distress. Classic Moves
packed everything, arranged for a removalist to take the
belongings to the new facility and whilst Pamela and her mother
travelled by ambulance- Classic Moves unpacked and set up
the
new room.
Working with Helen and her family…
Helen has used Classic Moves a number times. Helen has a wonderful
family but she likes to be as independent as possible. Helen
realised that she would need assistance with personal care.
She moved
from retirement to an Aged Care facility. The family helped
with the most
precious of her belongings and Classic Moves arranged for
a removalist, packed
and unpacked clothes and furniture and set up the new room.
When Helen was given
a choice of a bigger room she again called Classic Moves and
Helen moved across to
her new room. The paintings were re-hung, TV and DVD were
set up and furniture arranged
to her satisfaction. |
